Dipropyltryptamine or N, N-dipropyltryptamine (DPT for short) is a psychedelic tryptamine known since 1973 and very closely related to DMT (N, N-DMT / dimethyltryptamine). DPT has also been described in Alexander & Ann Shulgin’s standard work TiHKAL (Tryptamines I have known and loved). It is also worshiped by the Christian splinter group “Temple of the True Inner Light” as a sacrament and consumed orally or by inhalation, where the nickname “The Light” comes from. The substance is in the form of a hydrochloride.

Subjective effects
